An update on the windfury animation would be AMAZING! The current iteration is near unnoticeable for being such an iconic proc. How about a minor glyph for the old version? When it proc’d you knew you hit hard, now it’s at the point of just being “extra damage”.
I’ve always thought that the vortex from Golganneth’s Vitality would be an amazing HD version of Windfury, or just revert it to being the old animation.

I agree. The Golganneth’s Vitality trinket’s Ravaging Storm spell effect would be a great upgrade to the Windfury visual.
Even the visual spell effect of Buffeting Galefury from the WoD Galefury Shamanstone in Frostfire Ridge would be a step up, and Galefury is still a relatively light / clear effect.
Something, anything, to make a Windfury proc visuals make shamans feel like the center of a storm would be great.
It did recieve a new graphical effect in Shadowlands, I don’t think it’s enough though. It’s just a bigger ‘fart’ cloud, I’d rather they reset the weapon swing animation, make it look like we’ve attacked multiple times rather then just had a windy moment.
We just need something “more” than just a thicker circle around our feet. I did notice that when windfury procs we swing faster, but it’s not enough to just swing faster or have a small circle around our feet.
Mages have like 10 minor glyphs for their water elemental. Warlocks have minor glyphs for their soul shards. Druids are getting more glyphs for their forms. Priests have a glyph for their Shadowfiend. I would be more than happy to have a minor glyph of the original.

Until it does actual damage again, I’d rather not be reminded that it exists. I currently don’t notice it at all either through animations or my damage meters.
If enhance was tuned and designed to where it hit hard again, I’d be more interested in seeing it visually.
That said, personal opinions aside, new animations are always a good thing.

Eh, as long as it’s hitting like my 4 year old daughter when were wrestling, I don’t really care. I suppose we should spend more time on the myriad of other problems with enhancement, because windfury is gone …with the wind.
