Win trading is real

Because it’s still called boosting.

It’s one of the main ones I’ve seen, and it does default to EU currency so English might not be their native tongue. Typos happen in general, I’ve found a lot in WoW.

Good point, maybe it’s easier one way or the other. Self play costs more but I imagine they might be able to get people to double dip. Buy self play to 1800, not happy. Buy another for higher.

the last time win-trading was actually an issue on a wide scale was RBGs in MoP and even THEN it was not easy to do. i literally got 2100-2200 off a game where we qued into a 3k russian WT team who left right after the game started because they actually didn’t match up with the right team lmaooooooo

and that was in RBGs which I don’t think has ever been as popular as SS is now outside of maybe Cata in s9-s10 when it was new

Like Kennie was saying, it’s obviously within the realm of possibility for people to repeatedly que until it all pops at the same time but even then, there are boosters in the group that are “losing” rating continually and it’s not sustainable, reliable nor time efficient. It’s just so far from being a thing that the fact that it’s constantly talked about on the arena forums like some kind of issue is just perplexing.

The season started off on a bad note kinda… So day one many of the famous streamers even the bearded Warrior name starts with B. They all knew how to exploit the conquest currency to get full purples the first hour of the season, 2400 that day.

Everyone has their own opinions but I thought that was crappy, “rules for the, not for me”, because if I the normal wow player did that, it would have been an insta ban…

Well, people will have their opinions on things and the forums are for people to talk about stuff so it will happen. Whatever is on peoples minds, which often here is about class balance too despite a lot of heavy disagreement there. The best thing you can do is curate your feed as you like, just like anywhere else.

I mean they can handle it like FFXIV, you can deny que 2 times before you get hit with a 30min penalty :man_shrugging:t5:

Yeah, maybe I just haven’t been good enough about articulating that it’s completely possible, and likely exists in some capacity, it’s just so time-consuming and inefficient that other avenues are likely explored instead.

now thats a good idea!!!

Solo Shuffle is new, I bet Blizzard is going to make improvements to it, I bet the Queue system is one of them… I becha up at Blizz they know these problems are going on, they will fix it.

Mmhm! Kennie had a similar suggestion that I think works too. I think theirs was stacking for each time queue gets denied, which is less punishing for missing it 2 times in a row which is a possibility than straight 30 mins.

but if they fix a problem that doesn’t exist, how will you continue the bit? how will you go on?

Which is the nuance of the discussion. Win trading can exist, but it might not be as prevalent as others claim it is, nor is it the reason some are low rated.

For some reason though, the forums has decided it’s either one of two extremes, boosting all the time or boosting is impossible. Nuance seems to escape the masses, I’m afraid.

Haven’t seen a hidden reply in a while.

Yeah, which just makes it even less efficient. :dracthyr_comfy_sip: You’d potentially have a handful of dedicated people doing it, probably at higher mmr, but it’d be a pain.

I’m curious as to how end of season is going to look because alts are so easy and it wouldn’t be difficult to throw one round a lobby for a buddy on your 5th char.

I think it could be used in conjunction with Blizzard investigating accounts with ‘long’ debuffs, kind of like a red flag for an account to look closer.

One thing I’ve noticed, even after doing a UI reset and running with no addons… when I report a player from the solo shuffle game match menu, it shows ‘unknown’ or no character name on reports and after the 6th match is finished it doesn’t let me report at all. Is that others experience or is my UI just busted?

Mhm, extreme queue droppers. But considering that one Hpal who has left like hundreds of individual shuffles hasn’t been actioned I don’t have high hopes. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Seeing clips of people throwing matches daily definitely hasn’t given me high hopes for much at all to be quite honest, but you can’t change what other people choose to do.

What if YOU were the one holding them back and making them lose, so they just nuked you when they were in opposite team? /think

What I do if I know I have landed into a shuffle “pre made”, is just manually click on their portrait to report. I might half to pause a sec when the gates first open to get in that click report.

I believe its portrait, report, under language, is the boosting tab.

Sounds like a false report.

Used to I would dip, the moment I saw the 2 healers from certain servers, I would wait till round 3 to see if they was being shady, if so I would just leave. only 4 or 5 servers that produce most of the Boosters.
