So I’ve had and used WIM for as long as I can remember. And I reinstalled it the other night after returning to WoW for the first time in about four years. The one issue I’m having with it, however, is that when I sent out an IM? I’m not seeing my message in their chat window but instead it performs as if it’s sending it to myself.
The other player IS receiving them but I’m now contending with two windows; one for me and one for them.
Has anyone had this issue and if so, does anyone have the solution?
Are you getting it in a completely seperate tab in your main chat window or is it just not sending in the window? It sounds like you might have it disabled or the interface>social settings might be a bit off
It could also be the new update that seemed to have been pushed since the last time I updated my addons
I actually fixed it. And I’m not even sure how, to be entirely honest. I reinstalled it several times before but this time and it worked.
How odd.
Gotcha, could’ve just been disabled somehow I’ve had a few issues with that addon myself over the years and it kinda drove me insane cause I use it to prevent MT’s to people
Haha. Yeah… I was gone from the game since early 2017. Came back on a new PC, had to relearn damn near everything. You want to talk about frustrating.
