I will do a race change to a vulpera but not level one. Thats a grind I have no desire to do. I dont care for mechangnomes so I didnt do the rep grind.

I wouldnā€™t mind playing a new race. Playing a reskinned Gnome, when I main a Gnome, seems pointless. I even quit working on their rep.

I donā€™t play horde (but I have been thinking about moving an alt over to unlock their allied races as they have a few I would actually play) and I have zero interest in the mechagnomes. So nope on both parts (at least for now on the Vulpera).

Vulpera - Will roll one, get that tabard, get that mount and summarily ignore that character for the rest of its life.

Mech- I still need to run Mechagon. I have this weekend, should be doable.

Vulpera shaman (race changing for them totems) and leveling a hunter for the pet/heritage.

  • some * alliance and I donā€™t think those people asking for these new gnomes had any impact on them being made a playable race. There have been much louder and more frequent calls for High Elves and Vrykul so its a bit disingenuous for you to imply that Blizzard makes these AR choices based on the demands of the player base.

Vulpera, just not sure what class yet. I have so many alts alreadyā€¦ maybe disc priest or warlock. If I hadnā€™t used shaman for most of my other allied races, Iā€™d opt for that.

At least a Tuaren and a high mountain Tauren look different in that mog. With neither wearing a helmet I can tell the difference between them. Now that same mog on a gnome and mechagnome, I would just assume the mechagnome was a gnome with a pair of goggles mogged instead of hidden.

Just so you know my thoughts on the other allied races, since you seem to be assuming that I only think mechagnomes are a waste: LFD, dark iron, Magā€™har, and HM Tauren are all wastes of ar. They should have been additional customization options to the core races.

Of all people to like Mechagnomes, you were the last one Iā€™d expect. You were trashing Goblins, Gilgoblins and Vulpera in the other thread and short races in general.

I plan on leveling both , since im burned out on post game grinding.

already have names reserved and classes i plan on going. the leveling should keep me busy long enough until the next LFR raid releases or so

Mechagnomes are an interesting concept unfortunately the ones we got were a slight disappointment. Regardless I do like the robot/cyborg steampunk aesthetic. Though I do not like them as an allied race.
