With the recent revelations, it seems activision holds a lot of weight over blizzard and the devs.
An expansion needs more time? Doesn’t matter to the executives, you have to release it now!

Don’t like going to Church? Devs. Are you tired and it’s less than half way through the day? Devs. Are you in debt? Devs. Do you or does someone you know play a night elf? That’s not the Devs fault, that is your fault. …and a little the Devs fault for making them in the first place, then making them so unlikeable. So yea, Blames the Devs for that too.

When people are blaming the “devs” in this context, we all know they’re talking about the executives. Everyone in this context is a software developer. The entire company is a software developer.

I don’t know, technically it’s still the devs releasing sometimes half-baked potatoes. But, also with that though process I might suggest they stand up and to be honest, after what I’ve heard about Blizzard Wages, I don’t think the devs are paid enough to do so, nor are they willing to sacrifice their families for something that most likely won’t change.
Though it still remains, they’re giving us half-baked potatoes, charging a bit more too as if they’re already cooked, covered in cheese and bacon. Yet for a slightly more applicable reason. That doesn’t shift the blame though, and doesn’t stop my grumbling stomach… Dear Lord I’m hungry… But, it does give us someone else to blame too, Filthy Activision

had months but waited to last week to actually work then blames executives, did I get that right? I would really like to see the external focus groups and marketing exploratory committees that think these last 2 xpacs were anything other than garbage. seriously these profession changes do nothing but drive players away, the deluge of everything AOE does not invite any new players and definitely does not hold them in the game. I guess these design considerations were all from the ceo of activision? mobs of 10 or more in a group all with 4-5 different CC abilities and no DR .
I blame Putin. Which is why I send 99% of my paycheck to the Ukraine. No one is accountable for anything because Putin.

Meh, they aren’t my friends or colleagues or acquaintances. I pay money, up front and monthly and expect a level of service that comes with that. It is a business relationship. Whatever happens behind their closed doors, is their problem, respectfully.
