Many priests have shared their struggles of their party/raid members never clicking their lightwell. It sits there waiting for you to click it so you can get a heal without wasting the healers mana. Or maybe you’re one of those people who loves to torment your healer by pre-clicking it before combat just to get it to despawn? You know who you are.
Will you actually try to use it this time, or will you continue harboring your irrational hatred against the lightwell?

Blast from the past. Forgot about that. I remember some priests being so insistant about it.
I honestly loved lightwells as a hunter. I had more mobility than other ranged, so I could reliably reach it from wherever I was and rarely had competition for it. I basically had a self heal in a specific location.

There were many salty priests who were fueled by the rage of nobody ever clicking their lightwell.
As a future Holy priest on one of the PvP servers (One without any of the streamers), i do not plan on having my raiders have this problem - as i will NOT be wasting a talent point on this lmao.

I remember starting a priest a few weeks into TBC and my friend who mained one in Vanilla was helping me with talents. This thread brought it to my memory:
“Yeah, Lightwell is actually really good, but don’t spec into that because no one ever clicks it.”
I Still wish, to this day, that it was a stationary auto-smart heal CD. tossin out orbs of healing to peoples.
