So, I’m hearing everyone complaining about how people won’t be able to get into raids and high-end content because they chose the wrong covenant. But, really, that’s just theory.
Will you keep people out of your raids because they’re in the “wrong” covenant? That’s more what we need to know - who will the exclusivists (it’s a word now) be?

If a covenant sucks for the content we are trying to do, I will take the person with the better covenant every time everything else being equal.
Lore is not more important to me than performance, especially not after the first week when we stop caring about any of the quest zones.

Nope. A MMO is supposed to be inclusive.

Raids, dungeons, battlegrounds and arenas. Your move.

Imagine being such an elitist sour puss you block someone because they aren’t going to do .05% more dps than a venthyr would

i’d probably stick with my old mantra of “don’t pick feral, don’t pick more than one melee dps, avoid warlocks unless they’re meta”

I’m not sure you’re proving your point. Group content =/= “MMO supposed to be inclusive,” considering all of those things tend to have restrictions on who gets into the group.

That’s an individual decision. The game for end game content requires groups. Inclusivity in a nutshell.

I’ll keep myself out of high level mythic+ because I don’t want to feel like I’m holding the group back based on my choices, yes.

This assumes I’ll be leading any groups which the answer to is no (God I hate trying to wrangle monkeys for content). If I’m excluded because I didn’t pick the “meta” then whatever it wasn’t meant to be and I’m really beyond caring.

Inclusivity doesn’t mean you can’t deny a person trying to get into your group in fact you can have a standard you expect and be only inclusive to those that meet your criteria

I plan on playing a warlock next expansion. I am done with caring about the meta too.

Nah, I’ll be playing with friends. We like to get things done but we’re playing a game for fun cause you know… games are supposed to be fun.

No, why would I care? I’m not going for world 100, just getting CE before the next raid.

Inclusive and exclusivity are community decisions that are based on standards. Some only include those who meet standards, others don’t care. There is no “supposed to” either way; exclusive rewards and achievements have always been a thing that are not accessible to just everyone.

That’s why you make friends. Guilds exists.

I’m no raid/mythic+ leader but I would never not let ppl in just cus one covenant ability is better it doesn’t matter it’s not like any bosses in the game will REQUIRE that ability specifically to kill the boss… A group of people who refused to use the abilities the whole xpac could complete any content even if it makes it the tiniest bit harder. Yes the abilities are useful and will definitely get people through rough situations but the game still doesn’t require you to use them.

And guilds are created off of accepting and denying applicants. Denying means excluding.
