Will you be doing Grand Marsha/Warlord Grind?

Sounds about right lad.

Not this time, I want to actually enjoy the game. Though I do wish the best of luck to those that will try, here’s some tips for you if the system is similar:

Be prepared to battle against botters and account sharers.

Always avoid groups for World PvP. If DHKs work the same way, people on your own faction can troll you (and will). I would actually be more cautious than that and never be anywhere where you might tag an enemy NPC.

Find a good group of people to BG with, it will make life easier.

Remember it’s a game, you should be having fun. Don’t drop out of school, lose your job and ruin your marriage over it. Don’t let your health suffer over it either.

Maybe later on…

Being skilled meant not needing to grind as much, but if you couldn’t do that you could replace quality with quantity.

Though having a good pre-made that understand how to properly farm CP would be a lot more efficient.

I got rank 10 in Vanilla on my hunter. It was 30+ hours/week just running AV.

NOT doing that again, even tho it was fun and pretty cool to do a thing like that all by myself. Adulting and wanting to spend time with family (I know, crazy) makes that horrid grind not realistic.

May the Earthmother grant you strength human xD

No, I will not and probably won’t attempt to achieve any rank at all other than what happens naturally from World PVP. I’ll be almost strictly PVE focused this time.

For those that want to do this, I highly recommend getting into a guild that is primarily focused on running pre-mades. Plan your class, spec etc around what pre-mades want and learn the BG strategies and you’ll find it much easier, although very time consuming.

Go find an orc warlock.
Kill it with fire.
Kill it with fire again.
Loot it.
NO seriously loot it, don’t just click it actually rummage through it’s belongings like a real rogue!
Yeah that black stone! Careful!
Take it to the paladins and tell them to purify the frick out of it till it turns white. Yes whitewash it.
Take that to Magni.
Tell him Brann was killed by the horde and that you want to forge a blade to defeat the horde in revenge.
Wield Ashbringer to win every BG.
Win.
Easy Rank 14.

I work from home, and it’s mainly supervising offshore employees so I can uh…take liberties at times.

We’ll see if it’s enough.

Imagine running about 70+ WSGs a day for about 6 weeks. Not to mention the fact, your premade already needs to be well geared to faceroll through other teams for efficiency. You won’t be able to do it your self. You’ll need about 15-20 other dedicated masochists to do this with you so you can guarantee enough will be online at any given time. And when the time comes, you will all have to decide who gets rank 14 for the week. So some will have to stop pvping that week. You will spend every minute of free time in your life playing WSG. This endeavor will literally test your sanity.

Nope I couldn’t even if I wanted to. Just imagine the amount of wife agro that would generate!

I just want it for the BIS swords…

Of course not. I have a life

You know who wastes time during the pvp grind doing things like bathing, eating properly, going outside, or walking to the bathroom? Noobs, that’s who. If you can’t do it from your computer chair it isn’t worth doing.

So…if Blizzard decides that its too unhealthy and do some modifications, will be it ok for players or that’s a strict No?

You’ll wipe and lose half of your loot and gear.

That will be tougher than Naxxramas xD

MMM eating properly.
Steak, potatoes, cheese, bacon, some fancy bread. Sounds good to me. Sorry R14.

Uh… eating properly is hot pockets and Mountain Dew

Nope. The grind is just too much. Best of luck to anyone going for it though.

Personally, I made it to rank 10 on one character and rank 8 on two others, but that’s as far as I could get. I may go for 10 again, but that’s it.
