Look guys, legion wasn’t perfect (rng) but seeing the downgrade from legion --> BfA is pretty disheartening.
The game just feels so empty and soulless, really quite sad because I grew up playing blizzard games since I was in gradeschool.

I honestly feel like BFA has irrecoverably damaged WoW at this point. For the first time since it’s release, another MMO is challenging wow for the number one spot…and wow is losing that battle.
I have high hopes for classic though. I honestly think it will save the Warcraft title from oblivion…even if it’s only made for a niche playerbase.

Yeah I don’t think so sadly at least not for BFA maybe 9.0 fingers crossed.
Final fantasy? Also I thought WoD was the wakeup call.
Blizz was fine like 1 year ago idk what happened.
BFA strenghts is at max level… not on leveling. Blizz even want you to skip leveling and take the level boost.
BFA starts when you get Azerite gear… collect them. Assemble an Azerite combo with matching trinkets and start doing dungeons.
If you are buff’d enough, you could start doing 8.2 customization stuffs: Essences, Mechagon trinket, and Benthic Armor.
It is really boring when you are on gray areas outside of BFA content.
I have a 120 I just haven’t really devoted time to 8.2 yet and waiting it out to see if it’s actually decent.

- no boost to 120 so you still have to level in BFA…
- all expacs have been geared to max level content…save Cata when they redid lower level stuff.

It’s decent. BFA ties up with its endgame… Mythic + and Heroic/Mythic Raiding. If you’re not into it, you’re on a disadvantage. Maybe this game is not for you.
So you are going to be one of those that complains that they can’t fly, but are not willing to actually play. Gotcha.
Wow is a shadow of what it was. And yes, even with all it’s faults (and there were plenty), Legion is the best it’s been since the beginning of WoD.
This matter must be our next topic; for our history now descends from a kingdom of gold to one of iron and rust, as affairs did for the Romans of that day.

The real issue is that wow is old, so it’s harder for us all to be impressed. This is compounded by some of the design choices that have taken us further and further away from vanilla.
The dev cycle is bi-polar too. The expansions with new classes tend to be seen more favorably than expansions without a new class.
They can always come out with an amazing new expansion though.

BFA is what WoW has become after several expansions. It is about an adventure of getting gear to beat monsters… challenging monsters which are usually on dungeons. BFA is like the Vanilla but with easier Quality of Life mechanics but challenging in endgame difficulty.
If you are not going to go a dungeon, this game would be boring for you.
LOL I love posts like this. To Legion levels? Funny because people made posts like this during Legion asking if it will ever become like MoP. And in MoP people asked if it will ever be like Wrath. etc.
Funny how people ripped on Legion yet now they think it is one of the best expansion and what is even more funny is people complain about a lot of things BfA that started in Legion but seem to forget that.
I liked Legion from the start and actually enjoyed all expansions except Cata. WoD I even enjoyed because the raids were awesome, the leveling experience was a lot better, and I loved the zones albeit difficult to navigate.
I feel like there’s definitely some truth to this. I used to love mounts and farm them regularly but now if I have time to farm them I will but if not…meh. I’ve become disenchanted with some things in wow.

why would you want to recover to legion levels when you could recover to wotlk levels? That’s just aiming low, man.

Maybe because people were actually playing the game instead of checking if it’s worth?
