Do they even have tools in place to identify it? I’ve heard from several resources win trading doesn’t get punished at all for some reason.
everyone is on wintraders’ case, but what about the LOSS TRADERS???
open your eyes sheeple
We know it doesn’t since you’re still here.
What tools would you expect blizzard to design that would effectively identify win trading and how would they work?
I would imagine that win traders would utilize queue syncing, which we already know blizzard doesn’t care about, to then discuss their plans via private discords, which blizzard doesn’t have access to…
Telling your coworkers what the team that you’re on is doing via discord would be very difficult for a blizzard to know anything about, and identified people playing less than well would be very difficult to prove is win trading. I would also love to hear that Win trading and q syncing is abolished and prevented by some reliably and accurate means, but how?
Like when players have unusual win/losing when there are certain players in the lobby and unusual performance. For example, I had a hunter in my lobby would go LH instead of WW, which is an obvious throw and then when he was on the other team he would play normally.
Win trading is very common on the higher end of the ladder and it’s so obvious if they put any sort of detective work into it.
If blizz is making money through third party win traders or token sales….then no. Nothing will be done. If you utter a simple swear word or some Gen z needs a sage space and is offended by the color blue or something….tou are banned and silenced…::but the beach is wide open for wintrading, token sales, gold carry’s, and Que synch cheaters
Well if this was Mythic+ Blizz would be all over it lol. But its not so exploiters get a free ticket to make money w Queue sync premades.
They dont, its open season, queue sync premades for cash boosting has been going on since Solo Shuffle in Dragonflight.
Normal / Epic BGs also mass Honor farming premades, mass farming the red pvp gems, converting honor into gold, then into cash.
Half blizzards pvp commentators used to sell boosts and now they work there. They don’t care. People win traded non stop in tbc classic to the point of just seeing how far you could go… no one got banned. Look at the OCE ladder, lots of glad teams queued at 3am into friends like 600 rating lower for 2-3 gain a game. There’s teams with 90% win rate and all games are vs teams 600+ rating below them.
There even was a certain priest on Arugal in TBC who win traded himself to rank 1 on main and glad on alt. You can see game history on drustvar and you seem him vsing himself from 3-5am like 3 nights a week.
Blizz stopped caring about pvp a long time ago, they are just waiting for us all to stop caring too so they don’t gotta make new glad mounts anymore
Why not make some changes to the queue system, put a random delay in it, or just make the creation premades much more difficult?
Are these the best players in the world, or just the best at coordinated cheating? If it was actual real SOLO, I wander how many young players could rise to the top? Not the 30 year old PRO streamers today lol.
Exactly, I think its an inside job… SOLO content but they leave loopholes to allow 3rd party websites to power farm the player base for cash… Queuesync premades vs PUGs, and thanks to he AH mount, honor can be converted into big cash money laundering by the websites now.
Its money being STOLEN from Blizzard by insiders, thats funding for more devs, more content, stolen from us the players. Blizzard needs to do investigations into this.
I made recommendations that would make Queue Syncing nearly impossible, but none were implemented. I’d strongly suggest moving on to another game if you can find one with pvp while lacking cheating. If changes are made to prevent cheating in wow youll hear about it on youtube and here, maybe even on wowhead
Totally agree, DONT let the boosters farm you, stop queueing!!! Every queue sync premade they get away with is cash in their pocket.
I been working on the felcycle mount myself, 8 orbs down, hunt for the 9th is fun.
I mean, I still like the game play, so if they started actioning on win traders to bring the cheaters to justice, then we’d have a much better game. It’s not a simple fix, but I know if they put the effort into it they could at least help the issue.
Start perma banning the offenders instead of just taking away titles. People with their +15 year accounts will think twice about it. And put resources into detecting unusual behaviors.
Agree, there will always be cheaters in any game, but just like Mythic+, just the appearance of Blizzard doing something, even if its a token ban wave, a show of good faith goes a long way!
Agree 100%, players that gave in and bought a boost I can see them getting a conventional suspension, but the organized groups Boosting and harming the game yeah PERMA!!! IP Hardware ban, salt the earth ban lol. How many thousands of subs have quit wow because of the RMT website cheaters?
It would awesome if PvP was active and cheating was at a minimum, gives PvE players something to do in times of content drought, and down time.
