Will the players be able to retain their valorstones when 11.1 is online this February?
We didn’t retain them between seasons in DF, so doubtful.

So we can’t farm them now and use them all in 11.1?
They’re already limited to 2k, seems really needless to delete them…

And yet, deleted they will be. Stones are just as seasonal as crests are. We start from 0 with each new season.

Nope.
The new M+ season and the raid won’t open until the week after 11.1 launches, anyway. Nothing to really spend them on. You’ll have that week to do all the new world stuff and delves that will drop them and restock you.
It’s really a non-issue.

If you are lucky, you might be able to stock up on wax to turn in each week.
No, they’re removed at the end of the season. Their design is a grind that measures participation of a character each season.
