Will we keep Soul Ash and/or Valor in 9.1? Will it matter?

Just wondering if all the grinding of Valor and Soul ash will carry over into 9.1 and be usable there?

I foresee valor resetting and becoming money because that’s what they usually do with that kind of currency. Soul ash will stay because it can only be used up to rank 4.

This is also what I am expecting.

Plus the Valor season cap will probably be reduced down to a very low level again for week 1 and slowly grow…

Pretty much like in 9.05…but what it would have looked like if it started in 9.0

I have almost 6K of soul ash right now. I’m hoping there will be a way to transfer it to the new currency, if there is one.

If I’ve read correctly, not if you go straight for rank 5 or 6.

Only if you’re starting from less than rank 4. Going from 4->5 or 5->6 won’t require any ash. Crafting a 5 or 6 right out of the box will still require the 5150 ash.

And they buffed Soul Ash drops from Torghast levels 1-8 so it will be easier to get.

Yea, you will need Soul cinders to craft level 5 and 6 legendaries. They drop off the new Torghast floors (9+)

There is one. You have to go INTO Torghast to get to one of the brokers (I forget which floor) to buy an exchange BOA item at a deficit of soul ash.

Don’t forget to check your armor type for which slots can have domination sockets, and then look at your leggos and see if you’ll have to recraft them, before shipping all your excess soul ash to alts.

Think you might be confused. The brokers in Torghast will allow you to trade some BoP ash for a little less BoA ash…but you’ll still have to grind cinders the old fashioned way
