Achievements are something that a lot of people take very seriously and despite weeks of waiting and searching, I haven’t been able to find hard proof or a concrete answer: will we have Realm First / Server First / World First Achievements for Wrath of the Lich King servers? Is it worth pushing hard to get that first achievement?
If I’m the first 80 or the first to something else, will there be a server or realm achievement, or is a world first possible still? I sincerely doubt world first since that’s been done over a decade ago, but at least for my own realm?
Will we have Realm or Server First achievements?
Will we have World First achievements?
You guys have said a lot, but do you have any proof? Perhaps a link? You’re welcome to discuss your opinions elsewhere, but I’m looking for something more.
My experience from 2008 Wrath is that the achievements for realm first did not exist in the interface because I looked for them prior to launch and they were not there.
On day one, however, I went down to fish trying to get realm first fishing achieve. Around fishing 420, the realm first achieve was announced when someone beat me to it.
So. I mean. Google it if you want links? The hostility is pretty incredible and unwarranted.
looking at the achieves now, they don’t say “get skill to 450 anymore” just “become a grand master in skill” so i’m not sure if there will be any achieves for server first 450 fishing.
I want to agree with you, and believe this to be true, but I’m looking for hard evidence to prove it right or wrong since it’s quite an investment of time when time is very valuable as soon as leveling starts.
There are a few indicators (“some changes”), yours included, that suggest there’s something to question here. I agree with you and am simply not sure, hence why I’m seeking facts that I may have missed with Blizzard’s postings.
