Hopefully it doesn’t happen until after wrath so we’re so all in northrend by that point. These new unnecessary realms are only going to hurt the game, not help it, so I want outlands in my rear view mirror before that crap gets here. I feel bad for the folks trying to enjoy classic and now made to suffer, but there’s nothing we can do about it. I made a thread titled “DO NOT PLAY SEASON OF MASTERY.” Feel free to show your support there (or just troll it if you want, I appreciate bumps either way.)
TBC SOM will be a failure.
TBC was never popular on private servers and no way will they do a SOM for a raid logging xpac.
It’s DOA… can you imagine harder raids with no world buffs and how toxic guild LCs will be with the limited loot and time before the next tier? Not sure anyone going to care by the time AQ launches.

SoM are basically ladder systems… MMORPG are not ARPG and it won’t work.

Already took vacation for it.
We’re getting it.
Look at how many people are still 8/10.
There will be many more stuck at 4/5 on Hyjal and 8/9 on Black Temple.
And, of course, 0/6 or maybe 1/6 on Sunwell Plateau.

Not really. Everquest has been doing this for years now and it always draws in a large crowd.
I’d much rather see classic or tbc + where they create new raid content/dungeons. As would most people. SOM is such a cheap tactic that’s it’s chance of success is virtually non existent.

it had some extremely busy servers but they always do crazy stuff like release glaive on shop 2 weeks after sunwell launch, lol
I might dab in it to check it put nothing serious. I imagine there will be many tourists, including myself. Doubt SoM will be popular unless they do some radical changes.
There is a lot of boss changes, so many new mechanics.
