Feels like m+ changed everything the same way arena changed PvP forever.
It feels like every dungeon now is designed to speedrun as fast as possible, no real CC or unique things like a secret passage/boss or a hidden treasure room aka group up and AOE diablo3 model.
Unpopular opinion: Pre nerf Cata dungeon heroics were some of the best content the game offered. I remember heroic deadmines being AWESOME and real accomplishment upon completion.
Mythic+ would be great if they removed the timelimit, it would completely change the dynamic to a que up and never talk to get the objective as done as fast as possible to comfy 5 man content.
If you play m+ as a speed run with no CC or mechanics at all, i can only assume you are playing the very low trivial levels of it, and never attempting anything challenging.
They would have to redo the entire concept of the key progression then. Otherwise there would never be a failed run and everyone would have +1000000 keys.
Not really, have you seen the dps upgrades they’ve given healers lately? And if you weren’t previously good enough to do anything but a 5, but because the timer is removed you can suddenly do a 10 or higher?
I just think there should be a reward that is focused on playing your class well. The removal of a timer greatly increases the odds there will be even more cheese tactics added in. I’d like to limit those.
You don’t even SEE dungeons anymore. All the art and everything is meaningless. Players just want to rush through to get stuff.
I sometimes wonder WHY many of you play this game. If you just want to hurry and get goodies, there are lots of games where you can do that. So many of you don’t care about adventure at all.
Best of Both worlds. To “complete” the dungeon you must do it within X deaths, and you can even have a leader board for those who care to boast “im the best” with a timer. Both sides win.
Simple. While healers can do some dps, it isn’t nearly as much as actual dps classes. Just put an enrage timer on bosses strict enough that sticking healers is not viable.
And you aren’t being contrarian? If you are AOE grindfesting in your m+, then you aren’t doing anything challenging. There are plenty of aspects of m+ that aren’t that. And that will be largely noticeable this season with the new seasonal affix.
If you don’t want people saying over the top things about your precious BRD, then maybe don’t start off by saying over the top things about m+?
So then healers can just pop out of instance, change back to dps, run back in?
I like dungeons, but I don’t care for M+. I don’t think M+ is bad, or that it should be removed because I don’t like it, but I do think it would be really cool if one or two dungeons with secret objectives or puzzles could be added. Something that people can do for gear without M+, but would take an equal amount of effort in a different way.
WoW already has mechanics in place that verify roles. Simply prohibit role-changing during an M+ dungeon in any way. If the party entered with 1 tank, 2 healers, and 2 dps, then no more than 1 tank, 2 healers, and 2 dps can be present in the dungeon at any time. Or just lock spec-changing as long as the person is assigned to the dungeon group.
These are easy fixes, and I think you’re just trying to be argumentative for the sake of being argumentative now.
