I recently had the itch to go back and level my lvl 40 Paladin on SOD. However I was just wondering if there will be an option to transfer our characters over to TBC when classic fresh progresses. This answer will help me figure out if I want to invest more time into SOD or just play the 20th anniversery realms.
nah prob just gonna sell boost though so pretty much the same thing. sod added too many new things they would have to pretty much strip ur character naked

SoD is not going anywhere. Eventually it will be on static mode like Era where there still is a licence for the odd change, unlike Era.
SOD will be a niche. Where alts and casual rule the version.

SoD and era are 2 completely different worlds, how could they send your SoD character to era?

there is no way that sod characters would be able to transfer to fresh, and to even think that it could be a possibility is silly

I figured but i really don’t see a downside to letting people do it. They would retain more subs that way. Give us the freedom to transfer if we so wish if and when SOD ends.
Probably not since sod isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
I’d rather a SoD TBC. But PvP in that would be even more unbalanced than now and arena SoD would be terrible for Blizz to try and balance. Our toons will probably be like MoP Remix toons that go back into regular version with green gear, no matter the epics that you had.
