So I got lazy and stopped really caring about it after I got the sets. So now I am curious if Blizzard will still use this same setup next year/we can still get the achievement in Nov of this year(checking the ingame calendar that seems to be the case)
There will be the 21st anniversary event at the end of the year. What achievements, cosmetics (trans mogs), gear, mounts and pets will be up to them, but certain venders won’t be back for at least 5 years. There is a blue post announcing this, 20th Anniversary Event Ending Soon.

Oh interesting that they are now saying the legacy stuff wont be back for 5+ years. Honestly, I wish instead of items never being back ever again they continue with it being unavailable for X number of years and will be back afterwards.
Also, this also confirms WoW will still exist and have new content added to it for the next 5 years(not that that was ever in any doubt)

We know at least two more expansions are planned to continue the saga we are playing with “The War Within”. A lot of things can still happen between now and then but if those expansions happen that is at least 3-4 years of content plus this one so should take us out 5 years.
After that its anyone’s story if they want to keep going with retail wow or expand into more content or start a new version of the game with upgraded software and visual effects.

I know they said they are removing the Bronze tokens and encouraged everyone to spend them now. So, not sure if any of it will be back.

I think the transmog wont but I think they will reuse everything else including the mount off/the npcs etc. That is ALOT of development time to be spent on a one and done deal.
They might bring it back at 30, or they may add it into the Cash Shop or the Trading Post. Hard to know what they are thinking since they are too busy to even come in and chat with us anymore.
