She will become the very thing she hated. Or she’ll pull a Jaina and almost do something bad but get some sense talked into her and go back to sunshine and smiles.
The Night Warrior is something that needs to be constantly fed through vengeance. It hasn’t been established what happens if it isn’t, but considering all but one other elf was killed outright by the ritual, it isn’t hard to guess.
We finally have peace
This is why I hate the Horde, their ‘peace’ is not genuine, it’s compromise. They don’t want peace with the Alliance because it’s the right thing to do, they want peace because they are left with no other option. That is why peace between the Horde and the Alliance never lasts, because any ‘peace’ is begrudgingly accepted by the Horde who are too vanity and pride ridden to truly ‘lower’ themselves to not destroying their enemy, so as time goes on the pressure of conflict builds up until a point where they are actually a threat to the Alliance and they are all too willing to commit atrocities again.
It’s actually funny in a sad way how you have Horde npc’s after Saurfang die and Sylvanas abandon them go,“How do we know the Alliance won’t try and crush us in our moment of weakness”, because they literally project their own ideals onto the Alliance.
The fact Anduin is basically a Horde cheerleader at this point is a joke. There is nothing intelligent or moral about willingly wanting an organisation like the Horde to not only exist but to survive considering all they have done. Anduin is wrong btw about the Horde not having exclusive claim to regret when he cites Arthas and Daelin, as Arthas abandoned the Alliance as soon as he went evil and Daelin was finishing what the Orcs started.
considering a good portion of the players are also now jellybean warriors, I’m going to presume that it’s not going to be something written off or they’d have to take away our customisation option too.
You do realise that if it happen Tyrand will end up as a enemy for everyone and probably been kill as a raid boss our may just be put in her place by Anduin while she’ll apologise to him.
Like the horde story this expansion, that will just butchered even more the night elf than before. I though that after BFa people would understand that no story is the best thing you can have.
The point is that she gets justice against Anduins will, not that she turns crazy and starts killing innocents. She should only kill the evil people and she has perfect justification for that.
Uh well Night Elves have really reached a point of absolute nothing, so it would be nice if it could go atleast somewhat uphill from now.
The very definition of following ones heart is making decisions based on feelings and emotion… So her acting out of grief and vengeance is perfectly in line with her character. Let her come. Burn Orgrimmar. Or don’t, I dont need a story reason to kill night elves. The sound the make as they die is reason enough to keep doing it.
Not sure why we have peace.
Put yourself in an Alliance soldier or Night Elf or Worgens shoes. Horde does all this crap, Sylvanas nopes out, and Anduins like “Ok, we’re done, they’re forgiven, lets go home.”
Yea no.
Youve got a heart of gold and shiney bones. They would look great as pavement.
I don’t think she will become an antagonist. I want to see her deteriorate as the caveat of becoming a Night Warrior. After so, I’d like to see an enraged Malfurion blame both the Horde and Alliance for her death and banish them from Night Elven land.
Malfurion would be the antagonist.
It would be a silly thing, but probably.
Shakes the Magic 8 Ball
Highly Unlikely.
I feel like her and one other horde leader like Baine will start a 3rd faction against the horde.
I really hope so.
I hate what they did to Slyvanas, but more so I hate that she’s now the second Horde warchief to be a ‘villain’ in terms of the game.
Tyrande has always been judgmental, in my opinion, always been a bit of a snob. I feel like this kicking her over the edge of fueling her with anger makes her a GREAT potential for a raid boss against both Horde and Alliance. I’m sick of her and Malfunction. Wouldn’t mind seeing them gone.
And as a Horde playing, I’m not going to lie. I’m a little bitter that we have so much loss in terms of leaders.
Sylvanas is gone – why would Baine side against the Horde?
There’s no way he’d turn on Thrall and the HMT.
I don’t see what Tyrande would even bring to a third faction. Sylvanas I could understand (Dark Rangers, San’lyn, Forsaken who follow her maybe? Of every race who she races? A “NEW” Forsaken?) but Tyrande? I just don’t see it.
I certainly hope so! I would love to be able to kill her and mount her head on a plaque above my throne in Icecrown once I remove that dragon charred corpse. That, or raise her as my undead slave to kick around and abuse when ever I’m feeling bored.
Ew. No thanks.
This right here.
Is why I’m totally fine with the burning of Teldrassil.
The Alliance continues to act like they have the moral high ground but their past is littered with the corpses millions going back to the Sundering lol.
It’s also stuff like this that gives me hope that the factions won’t ever really be united.
The night elves and their burden of corpses never was part of the Alliance until Warcraft 3.
You are right about the factions never truly uniting. Someone or something will always be that rock that prevent the gears from running smoothly.
Long as she stays out of Dalaran, she does not really concern me.
