Will this PC run wow ok?

Looking for a Laptop in the $700 range that will run WoW when I am traveling for work. I would like an option to play WoW when staying in hotels. This is one I was looking at, but any suggestions are appreciated Thank You! I am looking for a laptop so I can bring WoW with me when I travel and can play when staying in Hotels. I am trying to stay under $700. If this price point is too low I will hold off buying one. I was looking at this Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15ARE05 81YQ - Ryzen 7 4700U / 2 GHz - Win 10 Home 64-bit - 16 GB RAM - 512 GB SSD NVMe - 15.6" TN 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) - Radeon Graphics - Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth $679 Wally World.

Running it is one thing, but it ain’t going to be overly playable without a discrete graphics card

It’ll run it but not swimmingly. I’d say WoW becoming more graphically intense rather than less probably worth investing into a better computer.

Sad thing is I don’t see any great ones in that price range

You’d be surprised. I can make do playing WoW on a potato as long as it’s got an SSD and the manufacturer didn’t cheap out on the cooling. The cooling is going to be the biggest thing that sets you back. When I took classes with a Wacom mobile tablet, I installed WoW. Biggest mistake I ever made because that thing got hot, I was literally killing the thing and it costed a fortune.

Make sure it has beefy fans.

You’d be surprised how much more wow uses the GPU nowadays.

IDK when you took classes, but since DX12 and multi-core support the gpu is much more needed.

Yes best one I have found that runs it very well is in the $1200 range, but Valve’s new Switch like console that plays PC games might be what I need. I just saw some videos on it. Since you can play portable or connect to a TV that might serve as a great travel companion:P I will wait and see as more info is released on it, but if it runs wow well then that is what I will get. I have been working long hours and just saw the news.

check this website, it will check your hardware and tell you in complete detail what meets reqs and whats not good:

This has every game in existence so save link too.

Unfortunately the pandemic tax on certain computer gear is still in effect even though the underlying reasons for the tax are fading.

Turn all the graphics settings down and she’ll do for everything but raids and the new world boss.

Man its just WoW. You dont need 1200$ with console and all that lol. Its not some FPS game where you need each second effect. 700$ Asus TUF should ran wow with above average grapichs just fine.
