Will this computer play Classic WOW well?

I need a computer to play Classic WOW on, however, I don’t want to spend $1,000 or more.

Can anyone tell me whether this computer will play it well or not? I don’t need 60 fps on ULTRA High settings. But 60 fps on medium to high settings would be nice.

Specs:

Model …Cobratype HP H655
CPU…Intel Core i7 3770s (up to 3.90Ghz, Quad Core)
Video…Geforce GTX 1050 Ti
RAM…16GB RAM
Hard Disk…250GB SSD + 1TB HDD
Optical Drive…DVDRW/CDRW Combo
OS…Windows 10 64-bit

That should run it just fine Sliqjim. Here are the minimum system requirements for Classic WoW that is posted at the top of these forums:

PC MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
OPERATING SYSTEM Windows® 7 64-bit (with latest Service Packs)
PROCESSOR Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750

MEMORY 2 GB RAM (4 GB for integrated graphics such as Intel HD Graphics series)
STORAGE 5 GB available space
INTERNET Broadband internet connection
INPUT Keyboard and mouse required. Other input devices are not supported.

Edited to add: My pc is now around 4 years old so the specs you just linked are slightly better than the pc I have right now. With my pc I can run retail WoW on the highest settings nicely without any lag. I haven’t checked my fps lately though to be honest. I can run Classic as well on the highest settings without any lag.

yes you will be good with those Specs more than enough for classic and you will be set for any other game out there on max settings

No joke, I was playing both stress tests on my old ASUS laptop from 2012 with Intel Integrated 4000 video card, i5 processor and 8gb of ram.

Obviously i didn’t have the video settings on max, I could run the game on video setting 3, but it ran fine.

Shadows and SSAO are killer settings. I’m running a Nvidia GTX 2080 ti card and tweaking with those settings can mean the difference between 50-200 fps. So you absolutely will not be playing on the most maximum settings around, but it will get you by.
