I do know, and I also know that way more people are going to hit r14 this time around, which is a net positive for the game. If you think gatekeeping ranking, abusing reports, and making alts to get 1hk is good you should get your head checked

You have zero arguments against the system and are just using abuses that I agree should be fixed. You don’t know anything about ranking and think it’s a mafia. Bracket organization is so one person doesn’t push past where they need to put, gain absolutely nothing, and add extra time to other people’s ranks. You also are ignoring the part where I said they threw the baby out with the bathwater. Yes, vanilla ranking needs some revisions, but the new system is objectively worse for the PvP community and only serves PvEers looking for PvE upgrades which is clearly the case with you bringing up parses on a discussion about PvP.

The pvp community is so small that there is no logical reason to make the honor system worse just to cater to them. After the grind is over you and the other pvp’ers will have free reign to play with yourselves all night

Why would I ever subject myself to pvp under the old system? You being better than me at pvp means nothing, its like saying your better than me at LoL(which I don’t play)

Neither rank 14 takes skill. One just so happens to involve politics and an influx of bots, which has gladly been removed.
Let’s not sit here and pretend a time sink is in any way skill dependent.

Ranking efficiently and playing well takes skill. Premade v. premade takes skill. Sometimes it’s worth the hit in HPH to play hard against a premade so hopefully they go next against you the rest of the week.

I didn’t ask for honor system changes, I’m just able to appreciate how much better the new system is. So much better that someone who hasn’t pvp’d at all since 2019 is now going to do it. You just want to be able to flex your r14 gear, which you won’t this time since everyone will have it. You are a selfish loot hound

The new system is not better for PvPers. Even if you hate the old system, you should understand it killed WSG/AB queues on Era. Now it is just PvEers such as yourself semi-afk in AV. But you don’t want to understand because you are selfish with no heart.
If there aren’t enough pvp’ers to fill WSG ques then we definitely should not be catering to them. Stay out of the PVE bg if you don’t want to pve

this type of people don’t even need r14, listen to him, he is full T3 geared naxx and don’t want people to catch up by ranking

Why is it that you people can only list abuses of the game for why the new ranking system is inferior to the old for PvPers? Of course, collusion is bad. Colluders should be banned. That isn’t touching on the loss of social and player led content that the new system does not have.
