Will there be a patch 8.3.5?

I know it will be unlikely to have a patch after 8.3, but seeing that 8.3 will only be released next year, in ‘‘January’’ probably makes me think that there will be a huge empty space between this patch and the next expansion coming in August-December.

What are your thoughts?

Probably. SL is too far away.

And 8.3 doesn’t solve the Calia / Forsaken story.

Most likely but judging by 7.3.5’s patch notes, it’d be safe to expect it to be a relatively small patch.

Not expecting anything mindblowing. But there will probably be an 8.3.5.

thanks so much for the reply, you think we going to have a patch that covers calia and the forsaken in between 8.3 and shadowlands ? that would be dope !

I doubt it .

Only thing she shares with them is undeath but the way she came about it was different and to be honest she is more aligned with the alliance and did not have to go through the persecution and being hunted down like the Forsaken did.

I would see a 2-3 boss mini raid to be put in the mix at some point. We are looking at over a solid year, likely more, between 8.3 and SL. They will have to add something.

This is my opinion but if Shadowlands is going to be as late as I think it will be next year. I wouldn’t doubt that we might even see a 8.4ish patch.

8.3.5 might be the patch we get the rest of the core race heritage armors? They didn’t show any at all off for Shadowlands so I am assuming they would all be done before that.

There was a month between 8.0 and BfA’s release.

They could very well release 9.0 earlier, given how many changes are being made to people’s characters and the leveling experience. Just to give players time to adjust before the new content is available.

Yes, beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Not even that long . Most likely SL will be out between August and October 2020.

So between 9 and 11 months at the most 1 year max if it comes in November but I suspect before that.

Personally, I can see Patch 8.3.5 coming sometime next year. Mostly because it will likely contain the World Events that lead up to the next expansion. At least that is my best guess.

We’re almost certainly not looking at a year between 8.3 and SL. Unless things go massively wrong, more delayed than any expansion has ever been, 8.3 and SL will release in the same year.

November would still be at max 9 months between.

I was counting from current time and to be honest I see 8.3 coming right after the holidays so mid Jan to early Feb so if it is Nove. for SL then 10 to 11 months

Ah my mistake, I assumed you were counting the time between. There’s been a blue post that 8.3 won’t be launching until early 2020. I’d assume sometime in feb. Given how long until SL, I don’t think they’re gonna rush out 8.3 so there isn’t a big drought in between.

January or Feb either way this will probably be one of the shortest content droughts between a final patch and a new expansion .

The last 2 ,Legion and BfA came out almost exactly 2 years apart . Not saying SL will but I don’t see them doing the release just before Christmas thing any more.

I think 8.3 in Jan say 2nd or 3rd week and say the pre patch will come out one to 2 months before SL. Depending on whether SL comes out between Aug and Oct
will most likely be between June and Aug.

As for the Calia /Forsaken issue being solved . Knowing Blizz it will happen out of game in a book. Christie Golden is probably already writing it as we speak ( if not already being published)

I believe Wowhead has discovered some files in PTR that are labeled 8.3.5. Although not a confirmation by any stretch, it is very likely.

On the other hand, people are really playing down how big 8.3 is turning out to be. There’s a lot to keep you engaged.

I would think so. How else will they introduce this “Chromie time” concept
