Yeah, it says 3 pets will have 1.0 attack speed

Attack Speed 1.0 :

  • [Bloodseeker Bat] (Bat, 60, Zul’Gurub)
  • [Broken Tooth] (Cat, 37, Badlands)
  • [Frenzied Bloodseeker Bat] (Bat, 60, Zul’Gurub)

I plan on taming a 1.3 AS cat from Darkshore. I think 1.3 will be enough to spec 3/5 in Frenzy.

Wasn’t all attack speeds somewhat normalized in 1.9 or something?

Or was that just rare pets being imba like Lupos etc?

lupos lost its shadow damage component in 1.9, but attack speeds remained the same

Movement speed was normalized. Attack speed wasn’t normalized until TBC.

Edit: I haven’t found/checked a lot to see if anyone has confirmed in the beta that we get dynamic pet attack speeds. In the demo they were normalized.
