Will the Titans burn down Bel'ameth?

What will Blizzard have the Titans do ingame to make it clear to players that they are our enemy?

Assuming Blizzard takes on a “show, don’t tell” style of storytelling moving forward, i’m feeling a Teldrassil-Level Atrocity in the near-future.

For example, some certified “oh, they’re the baddie” moments include;

Arthas: Destroyed Quel’thalas & Lordaeron
Deathwing: RIP Audberdine
Garrosh: Dropped an Atomic Bomb on Theramore
Sylvanas: Burnt down Teldrassil
Gul’dan: Varian :disappointed_relieved:
Sargeras: Argus & Outlands

What could the Titans do to pull our heartstrings to the point that they are stretched, torn, and ripped out?

I doubt it.
Personally I hope not — I’m sick of Night Elves whinging on the forums. lol

At this point I’d give them a lolipop & say canonically their immortality is restored with Nordrassil finally being restored “Yaaaay” — but have Amirdrassil as a gateway to death be a good contingency safety net for their people even if they do die.

Eonar would be fine with the world tree and night elves. :robot:

edit: In terms of heartstrings? Probably destroying Mimiron-- certain we’ll be exploring his lore with the Earthen to refresh his presence.

What i want to know is if the Titans turns out be our enemies. How are we going to fight them? I mean, what kind of BS would Blizzard have to pull for that to even work?

To defeat Argus, a malformed near-death titan fetus, we needed some of the most powerful weapons in the entire setting and the help of the other Titans.

So if Sargeras shows up with the rest of the pantheon in tow, ready to destroy Azeroth. How do we stop them? Like… what?

Even with a new city they whine.

Meanwhile I ain’t ever heard a peep from Forsaken players about The Undercity

Forsaken players probably know if they got the bare minimum, Night Elfers would be raging @ how its “baised & unfair” / “They get so much more” (despite not being the case) so choose to remain silent. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Seems like a pretty easy way to do that is to have the the Titans try to kill the Azeroth worldsoul, either because she’s corrupted (say, by the Old Gods) or because she’s not (say, by the Titans). The ol’ “Sargeras was right all along!” gambit. If killing Azeroth (the worldsoul) would destroy Azeroth (the planet), it’d be pretty easy to have us make enemies with whoever tried. And it would be very on-brand to have the titans completely overlook and underestimate us mortals.

Snickers at Blood Elf’s complaining about another race whining

So how about all those threads of you Blood Elves crying about Void Elf’s getting your hair styles. How quickly you guys forget Void Elves are just Blood Elves with different colored skin/embraced the void. Its not like they are a totally different race.

Maybe it’s a possible Old God expansion with the Titans coming to destroy the planet if we don’t resolve the problem before it’s a threat to everything? :robot::sweat_drops:

Mimiron created a god killing weapon. :gun::robot:

Will the Titans burn down Bel’ameth?

No, the Horde will :joy:

I can’t even make the “Blood elves wanting their city to be nicer” joke anymore since we’re gonna get that eventually lol.

I don’t really care about the hairstyles. Like you said, it makes sense since they were once Blood Elves themselves.

I just don’t want them ripping off the culture & race identity along with them taking everything the Blood Elves get & arguing whatever they get from now one should go to them too. :person_shrugging:

As for the ‘totally different race’ they kinda technically are now, since they were cosmicaly altered into one – Similarly to how the Nightborne were changed from Nightelves. However I get what you mean and yeah, hairstyles should be fair-game.

— On another note, I’d love if we could have:

  1. Worgen with tails (I mean, cmon!?)
  2. Night Elf Worgens (The OG worgen race).

lol

Maybe Azeroth empowers us for an expansion?

Um, have Al’galon nearly delete the planet IN WOTLK?
He doesn’t because he goes full Silver Surfer to Galactus, but the Titans have made VERY clear that if we had failed to kill the Old gods and protect Azeroth’s soul they’d erase the planet out of existence:

Why wouldn’t they burn Orgrimmar or Silvermoon too? :woman_shrugging:

Technically, Titans aren’t enemies. It’s just that their sense of order conflicts with the nature of things on Azeroth in some occasions. Too controlling, too ordered to get along with the natural aspects of life. The result is Titans occasionally not giving of a flick if we end up wipe out.

There’s a book on the Emerald Dream talking about some of it. On top of Algalon and other stuff we see all over the place.

One good thing about DF is how it has brought the dragons and Nelves closer. It kinda felt like they weren’t on the side of the world and what lives in it, but fulfilling the Titan’s agenda.

No. Bel’ameth is here to stay.

I don’t foresee any big damage incoming.

It’ll be more of a carebear moment to take down iridikron who I have no care for in the world yet they think he’ll be this thanos type character lol

The Titans will turn out to be good guys… the conspiracy will be that they were purposefully shown to be the bad guys… just have that feeling it’ll be something lame unfortunately.

They could take away all our credit cards. That would mean only one thing, WAR !!!

Idk but I think they’ll definitely show up and try to stop us when they realize their perfect plan of order and seemingly dominant hold on the universe isn’t going to plan.
