Will the Heart of Azeroth level matter come 8.2?

Hey guys,

Just read about the changes to the HoA system which is coming in 8.2. Does that mean the leveling on the HoA can stop? Should i still be grinding the HoA to 50 or will it just disappear?

The new HoA functionality doesn’t kick in until level 50 on the HoA. If you don’t get your HoA to at least level 50 you will not be able to acquire or use any of its new abilities in patch 8.2.

Okay got it. Thanks bud. Seems like i should start WQ again. My HoA is only 39 if im not wrong.

I wouldn’t worry too much. I go out of my way not to grind Azerite since I think the whole system is stupid. Yet somehow I have 2 toons at HoA level 45 already.

Yep, you should definitely get capped out to 50. We’ll need level 65 to fully unlock all the new stuff.
