If she wants to lose the support of The Tauren people, and drive a wedge between her and a majority of the other Horde leaders.

You can speak them after she imprisons him, most of them aren’t fond of the choice. Malya contemplated if joining The Horde was a mistake, doubt she’d be contemplating if he got executed.

FYI a better Tauren leader is going to be even less tolerant of Sylvanas than Baine was. Ol’ Cairne would’ve instantly challenged her to a duel after Teldrassil happened.

I would love to see an orc, that have values of honor the spirit of his ancestors, vr one of them being brought back by Syl!

It would probably cause a huge divide on the Horde side. The Tauren would probably actively pull out of the Horde and I am not sure the Orcs would be very happy either.
