Will Sylvanas return help or hurt the game?

GOLDENNNNNNN
One throwaway line from Arthas in the final mission of TFT and Golden takes it and makes Kael a simp who got humiliated by Arthas.

At least she played him being interested in Sylvanas off alot better and had him come off as more classy.

I love you for this.

Lol, I own the whole series on DvD. Season 3 is unironically one of the best seasons of western cartoon ever. More people should go back and give reboot a watch.

Sylvanas is the best and all haters can suck my toes.

Don’t you mean Xalath’s toes?

What about dragon toes? :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I honestly think that would actually have been a better storyline for Anduin. Hereditary monarchy makes the pressures more inescapable, plus he was young and inexperienced.

Add to that Anduin’s supporting cast circa BfA: Genn, Alleria, Turalyon, Angry Jaina… That none of those guys (warbringers, if you will) darkened Anduin’s aura of purity is a bit of a joke, as is Sylvanas pulling the nonsense she did surrounded by characters who’d not long ago deposed an evil Warchief for less than she opened her faction war with.

I can proof you Garrosh was worse still same for Arthas. Since their wars spanned at least 3 continents at once. Sylvanas did nothing else after Teldrassil.

Sylvanas was working in arms with a guy that was destroying every soul in the multiverse.
“You will be Forsaken or anima.”

And all of that was stopped before any of that was concluded. Meanwhile all of Pandaria and the 3 kingdoms Arthas wiped out suffered much harder.

“oh well she stopped before the entire multiverse was killed, so it doesn’t count.”

No, she affected more souls than Arthur and Garry multiplied.

if intent matters then Jaina should be punished for leashing three tidal waves at Orgrimmar before Kalecgos talked her out of it.

Yes.

Most people, outside hardcore alliance loyalists, agree

Sylvanas opened her war with genocide and waged it towards global omnicide. Arthas’s push towards that goal was rather more successful but I’d wager her kill count still clears Garrosh’s by a decent margin.

Arthas wants to unite the world in Undeath. As he saw mortals kept infighting amongst one another and wanted to put an end to it. He was basically keeping souls FROM the jailer.

Doesn’t make what he did any less worse though.

“… killed my grandparents!”
vs.
“… killed my grandparents and erased their souls, so I can’t even see them in the afterlife!”

At least Garrosh and Arthas had believable motivations. One was just an angry bigot and the other wanted to save his people at any cost. Sylvanas: loved ones, fire eels, afterlife, everything gotta die now because of vague unverified promises from the guy who is responsible for Arthas existing.

Less than Sylvanas, absolutely.
Arthur was saving them from soul dissolution.
