So what are the odds? Will our beloved duo of angry man and Banshee Ranger return to the Horde once Shadowlands is over? I swear I miss getting quests from them on all my characters who went loyalist route. The Forsaken and the blood elves are not complete without these two. Blizzard owes us that these two come back with us to Azeroth. That is my only wish from the Addon. That all the hardship I webnt through for them was not in vain.

I dunno if they’ll be able to pull it off even with how crazy their story writing is. But playing Forsaken just doesn’t feel the same you know? 
Blightcaller was a fun quest giver and for a time he was a good second leader too.
I know non-Forsaken fans are sick of both - but im not asking them this evil duo to be important to the Horde, just to Forsaken.
NE fans complain night and day. Can we take a moment to weep at how much Forsaken players have lost?
Also, I don’t want a council. It sounds boring. We’re a monster coded race, were supposed to be antihero.

Slim, to none. I doubt they are even going to be coming back from the Shadowlands. At least not for an expansion or two. They are going in the same box as Illidan, in the closet of lore stuff they might use later.

would be interesting if nathanos soul is really destroyed like so much other (destroyed in the maw), and that she will search for him…but can never find him because he stopped to exist.

There is always hope that Blizzard will do the right thing. Nathanos and Sylvanas are an iconic duo just as much as Turalyon and Alleria are. It would be a shame if they just stayed in the Shadowlands.

and we get even some datamined text from sylvanas ala “i once found you, and i´ll found you again…even if its need a long time” or such thing

how would they even have Nathanos come back. his head had a messy divorce with his body. He is just a ghost now, provided he wasn’t melted down into shoes.

She will search him. she took almost everything from her victims…it would be fair if she lost almost everything aswell…if she stay allive (most likely)then “life/Unlife” should be no longer comfortable for her.

no one really argue that they should return to the horde, but finding each other in the shadowlands will be difficulty…if - big if - soul still exist ofc.
Why should a fleshed out named character, who has his own short story, be obliterated? For the suffering of nameless NE NPCs that are literally replaceable? What other named character has been obliterated like that??
Just say you hate Nathanos and go.
Honestly the Nathanos hate gets exhausting. Unlike other characters, Nathanos is exactly who and what and say he is and has never once betrayed his own character or fans. Can’t say the same is true for Baine or even…Sylvanas.

Because that happened with souls in the maw, they got destroyed, what would be the difference between Nathanos and…the other #8179275827592749718 Souls? From the perspective of the jailor it would be buisness as usual to deal with his soul, this isn´t an “nathanos” hate, but a simply analytic what happened in the maw.

His soul is not in the Maw. Apari used his personal item on the shrines of Bwonsamdi logistically Bwonsamdi could argue that by making an “offering” at his shrine Bwonsamdi is now Nathanos’ Loa and thus he has a claim to his soul.

Tyrande doesn’t know where his soul is, she made an assumption that he knew he would be reunited with her, because he said so. If she didn’t know he died Tyrande assumed the jailer was keeping him from Sylvanas.

so, if the arbiter is broken and the mechanic behind the shadowland aswell, and bwonsamdi is strongly weakend and can barely hold the soul of his prayers, (we talk about prepatch here), before he was released by us players from Mue’zelas chains…how could you even thinking that he can claim nathanos soul?
In other words, his soul will be most likely in the maw…and he was buisness as usual.

While I joke he has been melted down into a snarky set of mawsworn boots… I would not find it implausible Nathanos’ soul is locked away in a soul gem in some vault hidden in the Maw or out in the In-Between. It would of made a great Backmail tool for Zovaal had he felt he could get her to toe the line with it.
Hunting down his soul is a good thing to keep her preoccupied with I guess.

I actually like Nathanos.
He was blunt, brash, in your face, and generally an entertaining grump.
But he’s also, not to put too fine a point on it, dead. His spirit may be tooling about the Shadowlands, but unlike us goofballs who took the highway to the afterlife in our fleshy bodies, Nathanos went the regular way.
And somehow, I don’t see him getting a wild seed ticket out.
