Minus the SoD abilities/runes of course, but with any gear they earned? Should they? The more the merrier on Era as far as I’m concerned.
Early on in SoD the devs stated that SoD toons will not transfer to era, the toons will have their own separate home. Have not heard otherwise since.
They should do both, imo - give SoD toons their own permanent server with their SoD abilities and allow them to transfer to Era without them.

I wouldn’t have a problem with them transferring to era as a character only. To come in naked, quests reset. But that probably wouldn’t really be worth it for the SoD people.
Anything else would be lame. They would have to come up with some crazy equivalency conversion that would likely be messed up. Or do nothing which would be even more messed up. We are talking about reconciling quests, profs, mats, gold, gear, pvp, mounts, rep. Maybe some is just 1 to 1, but im sure there is a lot of nuance and that is likely what would be missed. Making it a terrible experience all around.

I really wish they’d let people know how this will play out. I like SoD but just started and it’d be nice to know what will happen with the characters at the end. It’d really help me decide which Classic version I want to invest time into.
They are not Era toons and do not belong on Era.

Why? There’s probably going to be some kind of fresh Era that will take a lot of players from Whitemane, etc. If that happens, Era will need all the players it can get.

Rather have almost no players than SoD players.
If they want to play on Era they can level a toon on Era.

Thought about it a min and realised that they buy an awful lot of gold… Do we really want that plague of bots flying up trees again?
I vote NO to SoD transfers at any point ever.
Also the sod um, ites, just they constantly beg for changes to classes, the sod players are also BG AFK’rs and leech…

The devs stated at the beginning of SoD that there would be a permanent SoD home to play on, separate from the existing Era servers. I expect that will happen.
No thanks. I don’t think dumping SoD toons into Era would be in anyone’s best interests.
