Too late. In DF we saw Malfurion and Ysera trading back and forth between Azeroth and Ardenweald. It’s part of their expanded view of the realms, life and death, order and chaos, light and void, etc. Shadowlands is the death part of that picture.

He can join blizz’s slowly-forming League of Evil Supervillains alongside Xal’atath and Iridikron. They’ll all just cackle amongst themselves in a dark room around a big circular table, extremely proud of being evil.

Fyrakk was the first time they went full pyromaniac cousin who burns squirrels. He legit felt dangerous and unpredictable.
Also the amount of smack he talks during his fight is gorgeous, from picking on Merithras dead mother to Alexstrazas dead children. Oof.

I personally felt Fyrakk was not that interesting. He seemed somewhat mindless with no real motives, nothing interesting to say, just kill, kill, kill with little if any motive.
The best villain was Arthas. Not only was he a great villain, hated for taking the worst of several bad choices, but his theme song was one of the best video game theme songs ever.

I actually think that was the best part of Fyrakk, as said before some people just want to watch the world burn.
Not every villain has to be old god, a servant of the void or (shudder) the Jailer with some millennia long elaborate plan.
It was odd to see him as the final expansion boss though considering it was used by Iri

Maybe a distant relative of an entirely different race with multiple DEI approved traits. Remornia too. A butter knife with a bent blade (symbolism) or something.

Depends whether the plot involves a coming together of all the cosmic forces to battle over the world soul in a chaotic free for all (in which case he might have a cameo) or if it’s more narrowly focused on the titans (in which case I think he’ll stay on the shelf as a loose end for some far future writers to pick up)

My prediction:
Denathrius was removed from the sword and put in charged of the Burning Legion. He will return to try to destroy us all, because we screwed up his plans. Sargeras will have to help stop him. Illidan will help more people die to make more Demon Hunters. (2 out of 5 don’t make it through training, so that’s why I put it that way.) Legion 2.0 shall commence.

Yeah I knew it was a line that all of them said, I just always associated it the most with him.
My hope is that the Dreadlords will take him to Sargeras, and since they are both godly pariahs kicked from their own pantheons, they will join forces and be evil friends.
