Currently you can’t apply the legendaries transmog to other items - you can only get the mog from mythic SOD. Is there any precedent from the past that any legendaries you have (for example, a legendary belt) will allow you to transmog the mythic SOD belt transmog in DF?
I’m hoping they’ll become moggable. The cloth set looks pretty sick.
the legendaries are just the mythic sanctum sets so no. you’ll be able to farm that mythic set solo in about 8 years though
I’m still waiting on the pvp ensembles . . . seriously I want that season one mail set for my gnome hunter but darn it all there’s been no word on the ensembles.
But when can we farm mythic BFA raids? And will we get increased legacy damage in Legion raids?
i thought i heard that legion raids are again harder in dragonflight beta. lmao
(That’s an emoji representing my descent into pure madness)
they really dont want those stuff farmed easily given theyre the best tier sets ever lmao
Jokes on them. I have most of them now.
I mean I had to form literal groups to get them all, but! >:V
Still need the Priest one from Antorus, though the PvP version is pretty spicy still.
i spent all of bfa forming and joining groups to farm all the mythic transmog on all 12 classes and some i still havent finished.
usually they add the ensembles once the next expansion launches to the last expansions pvp hub for
but in legion you could buy the ensembles immediately after the season ended
2-3 years is more accurate, it’ll be possible to solo it somewhere between 11.0 and 11.2. I was farming most of Mythic Tomb of Sargeras during Systemlands (never figured out soloing Fallen Avatar, but him and Kil’jaeden don’t have anything I want so I didn’t put much effort into it).
if legion is harder to solo in dragonflight again, which was the case with shadowlands launch , then bfa is not possible to solo and shadowlands will take 8 years is my guess
Sounds like a bug that will get fixed, they’ve said in the past that their intent is for raids to be soloable once they are two expansions old.
yes they have said that but they have contradicted themselves now. shadowlands was the 2 expansions past legion and legion got way harder
almost as if it was intentional they were fiddling with the scaling. and again this in dragonflight? fishy
cracks fingers
HOKAY. So this guy gave me so much grief, but I did this fight so many times, I know exactly what to do now.
There’s two methods you can go for. Either A) The way Blizz thought would be easier or B) The brute force way. (really the easiest way)
A) When you start the fight, there will be a green beam and a purple beam (2 purple beams?) on the floor. What you want to do is drag the maiden over to the green beam. The green beam gives the Avatar his energy, and when it hits full, he one shots the maiden, heals based on her health and breaks the floor. The maiden can soak the green beam to prevent the avatar from getting his energy.
You’re meant to damage the both of those jagaloons at the same time, equally, so that when the avatar eventually gets to 100% energy, or the maiden dies, when he transitions, he doesn’t heal for much, so when you fall down to the bottom of the lava room, you can just kill him in a few seconds.
So yeah, that’s Blizz’s way. The easiest way to do this is to brute force it.
B) Just pull the Avatar and stand there. Ignore him, ignore the maiden, sit there and think about happy thoughts. When he gets to 100%, he kills the maiden and you drop down. Now’s the time to pop all your CDs and go RAGE MODE on him and kill him before he completely destroys the floor and you die from the lava. There’s some small ways to make this part easier. Kite him to the very corner of the floor, so when he does his big smashy smash, he leaves some floor left for you run to. Make sure to stand in the swirly green circles, so he doesn’t break the floor you’re standing on. After his second smashy smash, there will be no more floor, so you really gotta kill him before then. You have mere seconds in the lava before you die. I’ve actually killed him in the lava before, but he was already really close.
It really is best to just have phat deeps to be able to burn him fast enough. It would be SO MUCH EASIER if Blizz just took out the lava damage or nerfed it or something. I don’t get why that needs to basically 3-4 shot you. I should note that if you’re a Hunter or a Warlock, you can have your pet tank the Avatar in the lava the entire second phase and just whittle him down from a far. You just have to make sure he’s not too close to you, to where his smashy smash breaks your floor. It’s very precise, but you can actually get him in range of you, but out of range of breaking your floor. You just have to manually move your pet. Keep in mind that your pet will take a stacking debuff from the lava and eventually die, so be quick.
It’s a dumb fight and I hate it. I have this whole expansion, because I’ve been in there repeatedly, because he has SO MANY shoulder mogs.
KJ is almost impossible to solo because of his big purple balls. They knock you off the platform. The idea is that you’re always planning ahead to the next ball, not the one about to hit, so that the one that hits, launches you over to the second one and then you position for that one and it launches you. He does like 6 of them each time I think. It’s just that he also does them during Darkness, the phase where you have to find Illidan to kill the ghosty bois and that’s just unfair as heck.
Thankfully, he doesn’t drop much of anything you need. He dropped the boots I needed for this Hunter, but luckily, I got them from trash.
