Missed most of shadowlands so not sure how its worked. but ive just finished upgrading all of my honor gear. Am i looking at another grind when s4 drops or will my current gear just get more upgrade ranks, or just a flat ilvl bump?
More or less a clean slate.
Current stuff can’t be upgraded further next season.
New honor gear will be put on vendors that can be upgraded to 285, the equivalent of the highest rank of conquest gear, and conq gains are capped so people can only progress so quickly with ranked gear.
Will new elite gear have a new tint or be the same?
As of now it’s the same. You can just get “new” offpieces, like the monk helmet on Havoc for instance.
