Is it known if quivers will effect wand attack speed?
is there any confirmation that it existed in vanilla? if not, consider reporting it as a bug in the beta. Blizzard can test if it was vanilla known, vanilla undiscovered, or a bug.
To your question, no this hasn’t been specifically answered by blizzard.
no, and only hunters can use quivers, and hunters can’t use wands
Wands are not, and have never, been affected by Ranged Attack Speed.
Is this true? I vaguely remember my Rogue having a quiver. Maybe that was BC, or maybe I’m nuts.
Anyone can equip a quiver. Only Hunters can auto-reload from a quiver and gain benefits from Ranged Attack Speed.
Several private servers had bugs where quivers effected wand fire speed. I cannot recall if that was ever a bug in ACTUAL vanilla. The wands didn’t even get toggle-able autofire in vanilla until like 1.5 or 1.6.
As far as I can tell, a quiver’s on-equip (e.g., Light Leather Quiver: “Equip: Increases ranged attack speed by 10%.”) does not appear to have an effect on wands’ attack speed, even though it is, obviously, a ranged weapon. I have checked the “Ranged” section of the Character menu and my attack speed is no different while using a quiver. Whether it should, or not, I have no idea.
Uses his first post to necro a 4 month old thread that already had the answer in it.
anyone can use a quiver, just doesn’t do you any good.
