I expect that everyone knows about protection paladin being absolutely unplayable in wpvp/rbg/arena/unranked pvp. I was wondering why let them even list up for pvp since it not only ruins the interest for pvp of the new player unknowingly getting destroyed and being weaker than a BM hunter’s pet while also forcing a loss on a team of 1-2-7-9 other players who play with that individual. It seems like protection paladin has been ignored in pvp for too long with no removal of access to pvp making it dangerous for everyone as it’s efficiency in pvp is reduced by 80%. With an 80% healing nerf in pvp, a ~40% dmg nerf in pvp, a 67% dmg taken increase in pvp and a nerf to overall pvp talents and alot of bugs between interaction and spec mechanics towards pvp perspective, prot paladin sits as an all time lowest player spec in pvp to ever exist and having not place in pvp at all whilst not officially banned from such activity.
In addition, alot of people can do wintrading with prot paladin that way since you cannot ban a player for simply playing what they want even though it’s potential is weaker than a battle pet. This makes for effectively the best legal way to feed another player without risking a ban.
Will this change in the War Within ?
