Been away from SoD since start of P3 and the servers were full of players all over the zones.
I came back the start of the week and it’s a ghost town…and level 8 greens are 10g in AH…
Is SoD dead ? Or have people just taken a break until p4.

Crusader Strike (formerly the most populated server in SoD back in Phase 1) had a single layer this past Saturday at 4 PM server time. I was very discouraged when I saw that.
Today however, after the world server troubles and emergency maintenance that had to be done after the scheduled maintenance… Crusader Strike has 10+ layers already. And we’re still two days out from Phase 4 even officially launching.
People were taking a break until P4 from the look of things. Tons and tons of players are coming back now. Up to Blizzard to stick the landing at this point. Population troubles aren’t going to be a problem anymore it seems, but the game itself still has to be good to be able to keep it.
You took a break until p4, why wouldnt others do the same.
SoD isnt meant to be played all the time all day like retail is. You can feel done with a patch and then go do something else.
However for those that want to keep playing there is stuff for them to do.
Price on low level greens don’t mean server is dead or alive… that just means Blizzard made a huge mistake with incursions where 100g is chump change now.
