Seems odd this is not in the game yet. There’s no good racials against mages for healers to use. And mages are more often than any the best caster class in pvp.
wotf removes major cc’s from priests, warriors, evokers, dh’s, warlocks
gnome removes root beam
dark iron removes silences
hex is a curse and thus can be removed from the healer by several dps specs including mage
yet there is nothing for mage’s major cc’s. This seems very unfair especially given that mage pvp dominance has been going on since tbc. I think a racial to remove their magical polymorph is an overdue addition to the game. Let me know what you think

I don’t hate the idea tbh. a wotf that only works on shapeshifts but not specifically incaps? or all incaps / traps / saps/ poly / rep etc?

The best strat vs polymorph is just stand near your team and it breaks instantly garunteed

that’s mostly irrelevant outside of low rated shuffle

tbf i don’t do a lot of rss but the few i have done if i dare cast cyclone i get hate whispers
Your a druid shapeshift it, Feral/boomy is perma immune to mage CC and rdruid has 30 second tree of life, proc ones and also immune to root beams, lowkey trolling for a druid to complain about polymorph loool
Priest can death, fade, thoughtsteal
Pally can sac or throw pocket sand in mage eyes to avoid it
Monk can revival/incap the cast
Rsham can ground or ranged kick it.
Nelf healers can meld it
Or you can do what the hpal says stack on your team and dance like this
make the mage QQ and say THIS IS SO DUMB WHY CAN THEY DO THIS!? WE NEED THRESHOLD ON POLY REEE
All 3 mages specs have passive baked in uncontrollable AOE like every other DPS in game. Its quite literally impossible to poly someone standing on DPS and not have it break instantly.

yeah I just personally wouldn’t want underdog classes like shaman to be affected since that’s not the point
Pretty much this. Cyclone feels like the only real spammable cc that always works. Half the teams have a tremor or warrior zerker shout or dots that break fear.

Again healers do not stand on their dps all game. they can’t afford to. So I dont consider this a strong argument. On my disc priest when im in a poly it rarely will break and I hover between 2200 and 2400 atm. The fact that there’s racial to remove fear that already has so many tools to be removed but not poly is simply unfair.
Buddy, the game is not balanced or designed around racials in mind. Is this a troll, or just the strangest hill to pick a battle??
