This was how it was prior to the game being released in Beta. But forsaken were then changed to humanoid and WOTF was nerfed. I supposed of WOTF was buffed back it its original beta power of a passive ability that was always on, then allow Paladin/Priests be the only thing to effect them. I’d be cool with that. Seems very RP.

Ret paladins should have died 15 years ago. Your opinion is invalid until you play a useful spec.

Why can shamans take away my blessings and my will to live yet I can’t use exorcism or turn undead on the undead race
Yeah I think it was beta only before Vanilla launched. Undead players were actually considered undead by game mechanics. So originally, undead players were immune to fear, charm, and polymorph effects.
It was literally like that in the alpha of WoW, it was far too powerful because anything that worked on humanoids no longer worked on Forsaken. Sure paladins could fear them, but they were now immune to polymorph, sap etc.
Priests should be able to do this with the whole undead race but cadavers are humanoid regardless of cadaver being … dead.
