One fun in Vanilla was kiting large elites in cities… Will this work still?

world bosses were leashed before 1.12 iirc, to prevent server restarts.

Im not necessarily speaking world bosses. That rare elite giant in Burning Steppes could wipe out Darkshire.

I really REALLY hope they’re NOT Leashed for classic… some of my fondest memories in vanilla was running to goldshire, only to find it being slaughtered by a black drake from burning steps… It was AWESOME!! And then seeing a nightmare dragon in org… /feels XD
Really wish a GM or dev would give us some intell on this topic. :frowning:

Don’t worry…top guilds won’t ever leave you a chance to kite a world boss anywhere. They will be pulled and dead within 5 minutes of spawning

i don’t ever want to feel completely safe in any town or major city. i hope there’s no leashing.

Hopefully, they are leashed as they were supposed to be.

Asmondgold and group brought Teremus to SW and then tried to take it to Undercity, but got stopped at Thandol Span. And I do recall the servant of Razelikh that would be immune at 1HP for a quest also being kited to SW and IF often enough in vanilla.

They will most likely be leashed before classic is released. Blizzard does not want bosses like Kazzak free in major cities. I remember Kazzak being kite to stormwind once was funny until you realized you stood no chance at ever killing him.

Kazzak will shadow bolt volley if attacked by more then 40 players. He also gets a huge heal for every player who dies too his attacks.

uhhg… BLIZZ, Hear us on this one… MOST players who actually played in vanilla, DO NOT WANT Leashing. We want it the way it Was, not the way you thinkit Should have been. Please don’t screw us over on this one. [panda face]
