A legion-like void invasion is certainly interesting, but what else will we get?
Are the writers the same of the launch of war within?

Since it’s a trilogy I would assume the main characters are pretty much locked in already.
Alleria, Locus Walker, Xal, Faerin. With some OGs playing sideline support like Thrall and Anduin.
I’d like to see more of the Haranir, not remotely as involved in the expansion as the trailer led me to believe.
I’m not a big fan of these characters, but I am wanting some more long-term characters and stories opposed to ones that seem to exist just for an expansion.

The Arathi Empire could be interesting, blending the Light with a side order of Fire, but they may well go for the cartoonish lowest common denominator and make the mainland Imperials boring one-note zealots.

I find the Light to be by far the most boring of all Cosmic Forces.

But worse in every aspect and no relevant characters.
The characters in the Scarlet Crusade dungeon are incomparably remarkable in comparison to Arathi in Hallowfall.

With a few exceptions, they’ve stuck with the lawful good angle for the light, and that is pretty boring. It doesn’t leave a lot of room for interesting story

The forces of the Light could be a lot of things, but Faerin is definitely on the list of possibilities.

It is already pointed to that Blizzard is heading that way. Faerin is probably going to end up as the new Arathi queen after getting rid of the current power crazy king. Lucky for me I will be too busy trying to set up my small mercantile shop/ hidden bar (Horde) and hidden information/ item guild (Alliance) to care.
This is why I play on an rp server. You just make up your own story and live it.

I envy that in a way. End of the day story doesn’t matter though i wish they kept the df option of telling the npcs to shut up and complete my quest.
I can’t see how you can do midnight without void elves. Though blizzard seems to forget about them a lot. Its sorta fair lore wise there should at most be 100 of them and most could be dead from the battle for the undercity.
Lore wise that pretty much represented their entire population

No, the crazy king we have not met yet. That Danath Trollbane is a dread lord that is just trying to stay alive and have a some what peaceful life. Leave him alone, he has suffered enough.
It is very nice. The story still goes on but you are not a part of it. Just a common person living in the world.
I think the void elves will be there. They are bring all the elves together but I don’t know how that is going to work.
Now I am off to finish up somethings and work on funeral arrangements for one of my sisters. The WoW forums are a good distraction from grief.
