Ive never leveled a paladin before. Kinda dont want to level 20-60 if i dont have to till prepatch.
but will leveling a paladin change much in prepatch compared to now? Like with talents and at levels they get abilities?
or will like the whole leveling experience as a paladin be the same so i should level one now rather than waiting till like late june/july for prepatch.
The entire leveling experience is changing radically in general. It’s unclear exactly how much kill speed, quest exp, etc will be effected until we get farther into beta testing and more people have chance to feel it out in person.
That said, you may be better off level everything now while the double exp buff is active. That’s going away in the pre-patch.
Shadowlands is slated for a Q4 release so pre patch is a long way ahead. Why not level now with exp boost active?
Another reason i guess i dont want to now, is cuz itll be just as fast leveling in Shadowlands(compared to having the Buff Right Now) if not faster. At least according to current Alpha players. But then again, thats alpha.

Get in on it now my dude. Queues are like 2 minutes tops as DPS. Few of the changes to Paladin will make much difference while leveling since most of them are higher level talents. I personally just spam queues and sit in DMF to level alts and it’s silly how fast the queues are now. I 100% recommend it.
