If it does I might just wait to gear my characters till then. Have they confirmed?
They prob want to sell more wow tokens for legendaries so i would expect it. I would prefer if they just raised it by 10 for each bracket.
They did write that there will be a new higher tier of PVP gear in this article.
They usually raise the ilvl cap by 26 per season. 226 S1, 252 (259 in PVP) S2, 278 (285 in PVP) S3. So we can expect about 304 ilvl gear (311 in PVP) in S4. This also matches conduit levels, as 304 conduits + 2 levels from empowered slots will be 330 ilvl for conduits, which matches the currently known their maximum level.
Damn cheers. I like gearing in the last season of an expansion so I guess I’ll wait.
9.2.5 is not the start of season 4.
I believe patch 9.3 will be Season 4.
9.2.5 will just be some mechanical changes, namely a few class / talent reworks.
Is there going to be any more PvE progression? Folks are gonna get really bored sitting at pve bis doing the same crap over and over that long.

This isn’t a thing.
Season 4 start date or even a hint at how long 3 will last hasn’t been said only that we will at some point have a 4th season to hold us over while we wait a painfully long time for dragonflight
Yes but to add the seasonal content that will be coming with S4 it will require a patch to apply the new M+ / raid revamps. Normally it would be safe to say it will be patch 9.3 as X.5 patches do not usually include major content updates, but this round of updates is a new concept they are trying.
Who knows, they did say M+ would available to test on the 9.2.5 patch at some point, so maybe they will just lump it all together
