Will I lose my mount if I uninstall WoW classic?

I acquired the Frostbrood Proto-Wyrm mount by finishing a near 20 hr grind only minutes before the ability to get it was apparently “gone forever” (create a DK, raise rep, run through the entire DK intro questline, etc.) and now want to uninstall WoW Classic, as the only reason I installed it to begin with was for the mount (I never play it, never will, can’t imagine why anyone would).

So, despite the fact that I couldn’t use it in Classic & seem to only have the ability to use it in the regular WoW, the question is: “Will I lose the mount if I PERMANENTLY uninstall WoW classic?”

MAYBE the answer seems “obvious” but having played this game for well over a decade, I think many will agree that “logic” doesn’t ALWAYS apply to the way things work, under the reign of Activision/Blizzard.

I really don’t think so. Once an item like a pet, mount, or transmog is added to your collection, especially from preorder, out-of-game, or shop events, it stays there. I don’t think there’s ever really been a case of anything being removed from a collection.

Thanks to both of you, for responding.

It was a promotional event & the fact that the player couldn’t use it in the actual offshoot game, where it was acquired, made me think the same, but all the same I figured it would be better to check.
