With the state of Frost at the moment, I don’t feel that it’s doing enough for me in M+.
I’m worried that if I change to UH and get gear meant for it, I’ll shaft myself if I want to go back to Frost at a later point, because all my gear will be for another spec.
Do these specs use the same stats? Is this something that I can do without too many repercussions?
Looks like Frost is Mastery > Haste > Crit > Vers
Unholy is Mastery > Crit > Haste/Vers
No, just focus on mastery gear, but equip basically anything thats a higher ilvl than what you have. The exception to would be jewelry slots that dont have main stat str. Then you would want the juiciest mastery pieces you can find for both specs.
Since you’re asking this, you obviously aren’t a bleeding edge mythic raider, so whether one stat gives you a fraction of a percent more benefit than another is essentially inconsequential. Equip what you get, you’ll be fine.
Other way around, but either way, mastery is at the top, so switching specs won’t screw u up very much at all.
With my pve gear on im rocking about 55-60% mastery 10% crit and 8% haste ( working on my haste since I’m 2h to 10%) but I’m constantly top dps in my mythic groups just trying to push 6 keys plus with my guild cuz honestly pugging is the worst
But ya I have no regrets with frost as my main at all. 2h was a boon just needs some tuning here and there
Keep asking Activision to add an execute move spammable to reset runes. would only have to be 33% dmg of an obliterate, but resetting the runes to allow more obliterates, Killing Machine or no.
Make it AoE off the target enemy. Call it something like Soulshatter, low AoE dmg, but resets runes. And allow the DK to spam frostscythe.
That would make frost very fun. Especially with high crit chance.
