At the moment its only people who played 04 and early 05.

And streamers.

Thats obvious. Everyone knows about that already
we are concerned with us lowly peons.

Same as everyone here

I have Waited for the longest time into jump back into the vanilla Era i dont have beta yet But if i do i will be extremely genuinely happy

You and me both, have been following the progress for years now. Was a blast in the demo

Well, my account was created in March or April 2005; but it was in Europe so it was the first months of the release over there. I still didn’t get the beta invite.

(Any way actually to check the date? In transaction history, I cannot go older than 2016 when I resubscribe to try Legion in the US).

been sub since April 2005 and still no beta key

That’s such bullcrap, if i started in wotlk i should have the same chances vs someone starting in vanilla.

First you need to calculate:
Goku’s power level - Number of runecloth the horde needs

Then divide that by:
32.3333% (repeating, of course) of the average air speed velocity of a laden swallow

Now you add the number of infinity stones you have ^ the drop chance on the corrupted ashbringer.

Should put you in the ballpark of your chances.

(edit: 09/07 start date here/no beta)

Only if you’re a streamer. You have to be a streamer.

That is a lie there are non streamer’s that have been able to get in as well.

There will be stress tests
no doubt more will get access then. I believe may 21st is first stress test weekend check then. Idk it makes sense to give people who played vanilla first crack at comparing the reboot since well they kinda have experience with what is being emulated. Its nothing personal man.

From the blue post at the top of the forums

" To become a tester for the WoW Classic Beta: browse to the Battle.net Beta Profile Settings page , find and select ‘World of Warcraft Classic’ under ‘Beta Tests I’m Interested In’, and then click the ‘Update Preferences’ button. An automated system will add new testers to the WoW Classic Beta Test as necessary."

One way to stress test this is have everyone get a retail mount or 120,000 gold for getting to 30 in the beta. Limit one per account.

Can’t wait to see us all camping that node lol. Probably why it’s starting slowly.

Anyone before cata has the same experience leveling up in the old world.

Solid chance you will get in on August 27th.
