Yes. Idk if a dev confirmed it’s from the Covenant (I think someone mentioned that but I forgot). But if not it’s suggested the book is found in Maldraxxus.
This is completely fine, honestly. I probably wont go necro just for this. It’s such a small thing, and there’s tons of other cool new pets coming that aren’t undead anyway.

Probably money on “kill any thing in Maldraxxus and it drops as a Hunter” or kill those Anima Hunters and they have a chance to drop it ie Isle of Thunder dudes.

It’s bind on pick up. So it may be sold by a vendor as the flavor text implies it’s sold from a Necrolord person.
So will a DK be able to tame a dead animal now?

Hamstar! Did you copy your toon over to the PTR to see if you can tame undead stuff before SL?
I am more hyped for elekks and cloudserpents! I hope they add another cloud serpent besides Rei-Lun too since… it will be a PITA to get the mount later after all the hunters will camp it.
Oh and finally shale worms : ) gotta get my hunter-shaman mog on one of my hunters.

Are there any cool undead things to tame? Like when you say undead you just mean undead animals? Can’t we do that already?

I was ganna make my undead lock go there caz, you know, hes undead. But my hunter i was still tossing between necro and the vampire dudes

Well… we can, actually. Just some are locked until SL.
Not sure about the undead beast tome, but the cloud serpent tome is BoA from what I know. Elegon is counted as spirit beast btw, so won’t be needing the tome for him.

Prepatch soon. Probably in 2 weeks! So you may see hunters with new pets in that patch. Cloudserpents, shale worms, cobras, horses, alpacas, mammoths etc.
