From my understanding the gates of AQ only open when both sides have gotten their individual material requirements for the war effort. with the alliance exodus of the flamelash server are the horde there going to be locked out of AQ? Could this be the fate for many pvp servers? or am i missing something here?

blizz will most likely have to open the gates, on horde dominated servers, considering flamelash eu has a 96/4 horde to alliance balance, i don’t see any other way, i mean blizz really need to open up faction changes, before this horde imbalance issue destroys the game

From what I recall, the gates were opened on all servers after a certain amount of time. War effort or not.

They can use second accounts to make low level Alliance alts and try to transfer them mats using the goblin AH. But of course, as the event gets closer people will be waiting for them to do this and snaffle up the mats themselves to be resold for exorbitant prices. So if they’re smart they’re already doing it.
That said BGs will probably mostly end world PvP anyway so Alliance could slowly fill back up.

i can tell you now its much more then one server, i am seeing more and more people on my friends list no longer logging on, brm is a no go zone for alliance on my server unless you go in a raid team, literally 4-5 rouges in IF all times of the day, but yeah i don’t know i guess dead factions are good for the game? right?

Yeah not even safe in your own city anymore I have to have ice barrier up at all times in if it’s ridiculous

Should have never started much less stuck around long enough to cause a mass exodus.
What’s going on with that 1 realm is not the case on any other realm.

no dude people don’t have 12 hours a day to play wow, no alliance is going to stick around when getting to a dungeon is taking longer then doing the dungeon, and when fighting back is almost impossible from the sheer numbers, i like pvp i like to fight back i am trying to help my side, but i still have to work and live, can’t tell you how many times ive avoided doing dungeons just because of the hassle to get there, the horde don’t have to deal with this well at least on my server, its not fun i don’t blame the alliance who are leaving quitting, do a 1-2 hour death run into brm then come back here and say pvp happened, get over it.

Despite your abundance of salt, that will never happen. You seriously think they’re going to punish the winners? They’re going to implement a work around.
Horde should be forced to take responsibility for producing a toxic environment that force alliance to leave.

I dont recall the developers ever yelling “For the alliance” at a blizzcon.
