I get between 10 and 15 percent of my damage from the Amulet and I don’t see any ring I’ll ever get come close to the damage I lose if I stop wearing or if it’s crushed by the Nerf Bat.
Do we get anything for loss of the Amulet?
Going as annulet sims at like 389 for devoker. You’re gimping yourself by using it over even a veteran ring with proper stats.
The Annulet is trash for us. We weren’t even supposed to be using it when it was current.
Properly statted rings outdo the Annulet by a country mile. Go craft yourself a Mastery/Crit or Mastery/Haste ring.
Hi annulet was never good for devastation and if it’s 15% of your damage you’re doing it very wrong.
Like I’m worried that you’re not pressing buttons most of the time.
Also why on earth are you ilvl 421 and still using a ragefeather? Even a trinket from zaralekk is more worth.
Please no I hate using that thing.
It’s far better than a 389 at single target, and prior to the patch he’s more likely to replace his secondary deeprock ring before he replaces annulet. Even assuming his deeprock ring was something far better, he would only replace annulet when going into properly statted champion gear or by crafting the titanic signet. Again, this is single target since given their record, aoe probably isn’t that important.
He raids LFR, and ragefeather isn’t that far behind a 411 smoldering howler horn, if you’re lucky enough to see one.
No, as it wasn’t really intended to see continued use well into season 2.
If he was properly stat weighted that ring sims for poo. Which is what everyone is telling him. So again dump the ring grab a veteran one with proper stat weights.
it has literally always simmed ok for single target.
No it hasn’t. Mastery/Crit rings will always out sim annulet. Any Dev evoker taking Annulet is severely gimping their dps
Yeah stop trolling people with false info. Warrior forums are ——> that way. Annulet was not worth it ever as a devoker ever…not everyone is ok with being OK.
I literally simmed the annulet with his character which proves both of you wrong. If properly geared, annulet is equivalent to about a 410 ring. For what he does, even a 410 is ok. However, he’s not properly geared, which makes the annulet far better.
He is asking for a buff to our damage based on a ring 99% of the devoker community doing any serious content don’t use. If he was properly geared that ring would sim for crud. You don’t know what gear the guy has in bags so your sim is irrelevant. The dudes gearing is terrible if that ring is 15% of his damage.
Which is why I also responded to that without spreading information that is provably incorrect given his gear.
He’s not properly geared, and he only raids lfr. What’s in his bag is irrelevant. Even if he were hiding a full 424 upgraded crit/mastery set in there, he’s not using it.
The point is that if he’s not properly geared and only raids LFR, why is it even remotely rational to be asking for a buff for the damage he’s “losing” when he clearly isn’t trying to optimize anything?
10-15% of his damage means that he could get more “compensated” for the loss just by playing the rotation at like 50% efficiency.
Let me be clear–there’s absolutely nothing wrong with just doing LFR or not caring about how to play your class optimally, but coming to the forums expecting a buff with all those things considered is asinine.
Except that’s a point nobody has touched on, instead just trashing his gear and parroting “annulet bad”. Are evokers going to see compensation for the annulet nerf? No. There, thread is over. That’s all it took.
I don’t think any class ever has been buffed because a piece of gear was nerfed.
Meanwhile every tank is being buffed because that piece of gear is being nerfed
That’s exactly what’s happening for many specs lol.
I got the mats together and submitted an order for a crafted ring. I have not seen the ring, my mats, or the cash since. So, I guess I’ll keep hoping to get lucky in LFR or the dungeon quests.
Cancel the work order if it hasn’t been fulfilled. There’s no way they can take your mats and and run if you placed the order from the work order npc. Go into " my work orders" see if it’s been filled. If it hasn’t cancel it and you’ll get your mats plus the gold back.
