I’m wondering how lore would work if Earthern were given the ability to play Death Knights…? This just hurt my mind
Blizz kinda shoehorned in the Allied Races / Pandaren by saying they’re Veterans who died during BFA and were raised by Bolvar, but Earthen Dwarves weren’t around for the Fourth War.
Just do what I do: give up on expecting lore reasons behind race/class combos.
but i’m waiting for Illidan to come back and train new Demon Hunters tho so we can all play em.

The Frostborn are also Earthen that resemble the playable Earthen, I expect the death knight trainer to be involved from that clan. Similar to worgen death knights, Arthas already collect these Earthen. 
…Earthen do have souls. 
No… just no… its bad enough death knights don’t have a starter zone quest, just take a knee to bolvar and off we go. Who is raising these new knights and without the helm of domination who is keeping the scourge in line?
Unless I missed some serious lore I am open to being corrected.

Lets see with the Earthen: Arthas unbeknownst to the whole of Azeroth started a secret army below ground to one day avenge their creators demise.

As far as keeping the scourge in check tho, I vaguely recall that it’s no longer necessary because of how diminished scourge numbers have become, and that remaining scourge are scattered with individual “warlords.”
It’s kinda like Trolls, they used to be a massive empire but now they’re a bunch of scattered and weaker tribes.
Can’t wait to see Northrend in The Last Titan considering that… I wonder if the Scourge will be all cleaned up and if Northrend has developed.
I’m especially curious about seeing what happens to Zul’drak considering the entire Draakari tribe was wiped out (except for one individual Troll in Dazar’alor).
We didn’t. This is a made up issue. All current Death Knights were raised by either Arthas, or Bolvar using the Helm. Death Knight character creation stems from very specific points in time.
There were Earthen in BfA, helping Magni around. Since Bolvar raised BfA dead people, that could be it.

Arent bolvar dks pre SLs? Isnt he still in the throne when you do the intro? Its like a mini time warp i thought.

Ummm , non Allied races still go through the Wrath quests to start, I have an Undead sitting at the old Acherus right now.
Allied races go auto to the throne with Bolvar.
Or that in WOTLK there were Earthen and we play as ‘one of them’ maybe, much like how the Worgen DK within lore was part of Arugal’s cult IIRC.
It shouldn’t be possible for Bolvar to create any new Death Knights. Not after the helm was broken. Certainly not after he doesn’t even have the pieces of it anymore (since it was made into the crown that was given to Pelagos).
Unless they come up with some handwavey way to do it.
Correct me if i’m wrong but wasn’t there something in the lore saying Frostborn would die if they left a frosty climate?
I vaguely recall that being the reason we never saw them again.
Maybe you’re thinking about the Thunderfall location that turned both dwarves and giants into ice?
