I remember starting during MOP. There were zones I did not like so I leveled using just dungeons from 30-45 because random dungeons gave a ton of EXP. Will that still be true for Classic Cataclysm?
I would assume. They really went all in with LFD in Cata. Even if not though, there are usually a couple zones for each level range. For example each faction has 3 10-20 leveling zones so if you hate one of them you can visit another, same for higher level ranges. It’s not until you reach new expansion ( by new I mean above the old world range, obviously TBC/Wrath/New Cata zones are old by now) content you are forced in to certain zones.
