Agreed…the pics of that blue dracthyr wearing the season 2 set is a tad depressing. It really does look so unfinished and weird having 2 slots only.

In fact, I suspect we will never see a new race that uses a brand new rig. If there are gonna be new races they will be using existing rigs. I think they don’t want to create a new rig due to all the armors in this game and the time it would take to add them to a new race rig.
Yeah, it’s even worse than Mechagnomes. I just bought the Evoker T2 and realized it’s only visible when I’m not in dragon form. What a waste lmao
It’s too much work for this indie company to have fully geared races now. Probably part of the reason we don’t get full new races anymore. A lot easier, faster, and cheaper to code the gear to a reskinned dwarf or a dracthyr with 2-3 slots.
Prevoker is a spec for non-casuals, they have no idea what they going to do with Aug, and no one likes how the dragons came out.

This is valid, but i think its premature. In development terms, WoD was not that long ago. And turning around a major company and a major game like WoW is like turning an oil tanker. Its not fast.
If i were at Blizzard id say we absolutely cant have another WoD. And we almost had one with Shadowlands. Dragonflight was a known reset.

And i think they made the right call. DF was a huge improvement over SL. Prior to the 11.1 announcement i was getting worried but i think TWW is about to find its footing.
I agree that Dracthyr and Earthen are underwhelming but i also would rather that than to ever see 9.1 again.
I have wings. When im floating, my wings dont seem to be a problem at all. Heck, you can even see my wings when im in pet mirror form which looks awesome on most pets.
Many races have tails.
I think blizz is screamingly lazy because theyxwanted to add all these extra horns and stuff and got weirded out by the clipping. We have a barber. We can get rid of them if we find the clipping to be obnoxious.
But then 99% of shoulders look wrong on a female troll and that is a VANILLA RACE so i doubt they care.

Oh yes. I leveled a mechagnome priest during MoP Remix and was astounded to find out that robes somehow didn’t fit over the mechagnome arms. I’m fine with mechanical hands and feet always showing, but robes?

I know what you’re saying. I saw the tier sets for the upcoming goblin raid and they showed the Evoker sets on both forms. I just don’t understand how they can be proud and feel they did a complete job when I see that. To me it’s ridiculous. But it is what it is.

It sucks because in a better game engine, they would have looked dope according to their concept art. Like real regal dragon types but what we get in game is the uglist race in all the game.
Kul’tirans still have melee sound problems to this day. Main reason I shelved my Kul’tiran warrior for my goblin one instead.
Eh I mean you can make some regal dracthyr and some stupid looking ones, they have a ton of customization so it’s really on the player to make it work right.
The armor restrictions just suck for collectors because you only ever get so many combinations of the same 2-4 options per slot.
It is so limited in dragon form, that is the complaint. Visage mode is like their real form now because that is where the armor actually looks good in
That’s more like a spell, they’re not actually attached. Although removing dracthyr wings might be possible.
